Sister Love

Sister Love... Jasmine is such a good big sister to Kennedy. Kennedy totally loves when she comes to play. Jasmine will beg to hold Kennedy, she'll hold her for a minute then push her away saying she's done!!! Lol.. we have to be near because when she's done.. she's done!!!

This is the night of the Christmas program at church. Jasmine did awesome on her part and yes, even Kennedy was in it!! Lol.. both were little stars.

Kennedy goes Bananas!!

Kennedy loves some Bananas!!! Okay, so Kennedy is almost 6 months and yes we are just barely starting her on solids!! On her 4 month check up the doctor told me I could start feeding her solids anytime from 4-6 months, but he also said that there were no pros or cons to starting them before 6 months. He said usually the only reason parents start earlier then 6 months is because they the parents are excited for the baby to start new things.

Okay.. to me.. nothing sounded fun about starting this new adventure of food!! I know I must be a bad or not usual parent, but honestly she was doing so well with formula! I have to admit tho, it has been fun seeing her try some new food!!

Good thing she has great grandparents who spoil her!! My mom and dad bought some real food for Kennedy so we tried out the bananas on Sunday. Her first expression was price less but we didn't have the camera ready. It was a surprised, "what the heck" expression!! But, once after the initial shock she seemed to like it. Its so funny because I don't think she really knows how to work her tongue yet, but I'm sure she will get the hang of it soon!She already has a mind of her own, she had to hold the spoon and help me feed her!! Oh goodness I think we could be in trouble!

Patiently waiting for Grandma to feed her and singing along with Grandpa as he cooked. I guess Grandpa was making up songs and she thought it was the funniest thing ever. They said she just kept laughing.

Getting ready to leave Grandma and Grandpa house after a long conversation with Grandma. She loves to converstate with her Grandma. Lol.. what they are saying we're not sure, but they both seem to be having a good time!!

Congratulations to my baby brother Kyle and Amber!!

Kyle proposed to Amber on Tuesday and she accepted.

They will be married June 5th in the new Draper Temple. We are all very excited for the both of them.

Kyle, Amber, Parker, Jasmine and I went sledding the weekend after Christmas. It was such perfect weather and quite the work out!!

What an amazing day in History....

January 20th, 2009,

Barack Obama became our 44th President of the United States!

This is a day I/we have all been waiting for, this is a day of change.

I tear up of happy tears thinking of this. This just proves that anything and everything is possible. Kennedy, this opens up the world to you. You can be and do whatever you dream. President Obama is Bi- Racial and the first African American President of the United States. Many thought this would never be possible, but he proved them wrong. I am excited and anxious to see what the future will bring.

Friday Khari, Kennedy and I met Niki, Lani and the kids up at town for the U parade. The U football team won the Sugar Bowl a couple weekends ago and they had a parade to honor the team. It was so much fun, so much energy and beyond exciting!! All the players were giving out high fives and auto graphs. Once the parade went by everyone followed the team to Washington Square for a pep rally. It was so crowded that we really couldn't see or hear so we left. But the whole atmosphere was awesome! It was so great to see everyone come out and support the team!!

Thru all the excitement of Christmas morning we tired Kennedy out!! It was so funny, everyone was opening presents and all excited... we look over once and Kennedy is playing with the wrapping paper then look over again... and she is fast asleep on Grandpa belly!!
